Eibhlín Evans is an academic, artist and writer. She lives and works in Dublin, Ireland. 

Her work is mainly abstract painting.  She prefers to work on a large scale, using oil on canvas.

Having lived abroad for many decades, she returned to Ireland in 2004, where she has worked in her studio in Temple Bar, Dublin’s vibrant cultural quarter, and in her hilltop home overlooking the city and the Dublin mountains. Her painting draws on the energy and scale of these contrasting worlds.
